CBUSA’s highly anticipated Power 30 conference is quickly approaching. We can’t wait to welcome our top builders to Austin, Texas, for a full lineup of informative presentations, networking sessions and exciting outings. Attendees will also have opportunities to harness new business insights, connect with industry leaders and help shape the future of construction.
Here’s a sneak peek at what to look forward to at this year’s event.
Network with like-minded leaders from other CBUSA chapters
One of the major perks of being a CBUSA member is the ability to network with experienced, passionate home builders like yourself. Every year, the opportunity to meet and mingle with leading builders from all over the country is a highlight of the conference. It’s the perfect outlet for connecting with and learning from other like-minded construction professionals in a whole new way.
During conference sessions, the National Partner Expo and off-site events, builders attending Power 30 can expand their industry knowledge and get to know one another all at the same time.
Attend presentations from newly added brand partners
We’ve added several new product partners to our current brand offerings. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from each partner to learn more about what they offer CBUSA members.
This year’s brand partner presentations include:
Builders can also meet one on one with brand representatives during the National Partner Expo on Monday, Sept. 18 from 2 to 5 p.m. You can look forward to collecting some sweet swag, business cards and other construction must-haves you can’t get anywhere else.
Hear from leading economists on the state of the construction market
Another highlight of this year’s Power 30 conference is the chance to hear from the best of the best when it comes to insights on the state of the construction market. Last year, Mark Boud – an industry leader known for his economic planning – shared data-driven forecasts, housing market strengths and weaknesses and insights about consumer demand.
Mark is heavily involved in the analysis of residential real estate markets throughout the United States. His modeled forecasts and analytics are trusted by major builders, land developers, building product manufacturers, capital groups and financial institutions.
This year, Mark will be joined by Brad Hunter, president at Hunter Housing Economics, a national housing consulting firm. Brad has conducted hundreds of studies of housing supply and demand nationwide. He developed quantitative methods of determining housing market risk that allowed him to warn clients well ahead of the 2006-2009 downturn.
Together, these two economic experts promise to share helpful insights and information that’ll help builders navigate and plan for any uncertainty in the upcoming year.
