Though we’re contentedly rounding out 2015, there’s no room for coasting into the new year. With two formidable new markets on our immediate horizon, we’re as busy and excited as ever. Empowering independent home builders to leverage more purchasing power for themselves in a challenging supply market is our driving force. As such, we are ready to charge into the new year full steam ahead.

Eastern Maryland: January 2016

Our first focus of 2016 is Eastern Maryland. Launching in January, this new market will become the 19th CBUSA operation. With combined annual revenue of $220 million and 430 annual starts, CBUSA in Eastern Maryland Builder Members collectively rank as the second biggest builder in the region.

In early December, we held a series of vendor recruitment meetings during which we met with 30 prospective business partners. Cultivating a solid list of local suppliers and contractors for our new markets is imperative for the success of our model, and we are proud to note that the vast majority has already submitted applications for membership.

Richmond, VA: February 2016

Almost immediately after we launch our new market in Eastern Maryland, we’ll be following up with our 20th CBUSA operation in Richmond. This prolific community boasts combined annual revenue of home building community members of $105 million, and 366 starts, making CBUSA Richmond the second biggest builder in the market.

There is a wealth of experience and knowledge among our eight Charter Builder members. With these first class companies on board, we’re eager to get things under way.
