Each year, we’re hold more firmly to the conviction that the Power 30 Conference epitomizes what’s best about CBUSA—some of the most successful independent builders in the industry come together to share insights, learn how to improve their own businesses, and help shape the future of CBUSA.
This year, we closed out the several-day-long conference with renewed excitement and plates full of work to start in on thanks to new partnerships, fortified relationships, and the prospect of serious growth in the coming year. Take a moment to peruse the photo album.
The venue this year will be hard to beat—the one-of-a-kind Omni Nashville Hotel in the vibrant city of Nashville, Tennessee was the perfect setting for brushing shoulders with influential custom/independent builders from all over the country as well as top manufacturers that have the power and capability to seriously impact the bottom line of almost every last builder within our network.
To enhance the purpose of this meeting and elevate the takeaways for all, we coordinated a series of presentations with these key manufacturers, allowing for unprecedented insights into the true buying power of the CBUSA network. For the first time in the six year history of the conference, manufacturers presented exclusive CBUSA national contracts to the Power 30 attendees including Kohler, Dacor, James Hardie, LP, and Caesarstone.
The fact that 11 of the industry’s most prominent and influential manufacturers came out to hold formal presentations for Power 30 builders is humbling and reflective of the weight of the group as a whole. Collectively, CBUSA members’ purchase volume ranks 10th nationally against some of the most powerful national builders. Truly, we’re only moving upwards from here.
“Power 30 is a great event filled with business ideas, networking, and strategies, all of which can go into effect immediately. I have been to a lot of events, including builder 20s, and this is on a different level,” explains Charlie Simms of Simms Development.
We’re looking back with humility, excitement, and grit—follow along with what’s next by joining or LinkedIn group. If you find yourself with any questions, want to cheers over the successes, or have a memory to share from the experience.
