Meet the speaker
James Tobin III serves as president and chief executive officer of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), one of the housing industry’s most influential advocacy organizations. He brings more than two decades of leadership experience across housing policy, federal affairs and regulatory strategy.
Tobin joined NAHB in 1998 and rose through senior government-relations roles that strengthened the industry’s voice in Washington. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as executive vice president and chief lobbyist. His leadership focuses on housing affordability, supply expansion and regulatory balance.
