Annual event will connect CBUSA members with industry leaders, suppliers and national brand partners for two days of insights, collaboration and relationship-building.

OMAHA, Neb. — Oct. 8, 2026 — CBUSA, a group purchasing organization dedicated to helping independent homebuilders strengthen their businesses, will bring members, suppliers and national brand partners together for The Summit 2026, held Oct. 12–13 at Hotel Polaris in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The annual event gives CBUSA members from across the country an opportunity to learn from industry leaders, exchange ideas with fellow builders and build stronger relationships with the partners who support their businesses. With registration now closed, CBUSA is preparing to welcome attendees for two days focused on the insights and connections that can help independent builders improve performance and plan for the year ahead.

“The Summit brings to life what makes the CBUSA network so valuable: independent builders, suppliers and industry partners coming together to learn from one another and create opportunities for shared success,” said Brian Pavlick, president of CBUSA. “The ideas exchanged and relationships strengthened during these two days can have a lasting impact on how our members approach their businesses in the year ahead.”

This year’s program will explore the economic, operational and technological forces shaping residential construction. Sessions include an economic outlook from Mark Boud, a keynote from entrepreneur and business leader Gina Schaefer and a CEO fireside chat featuring Devin Stockfish of Weyerhaeuser, Chris Galvin of Andersen Windows and Aaron Erter of James Hardie. Attendees will also hear expert perspectives on building science, cost to serve and artificial intelligence before a closing keynote from former fighter pilot and author Lt. Col. Justin Hasard Lee.

Beyond the main stage, The Summit creates dedicated opportunities for builders to connect directly with suppliers and national brand partners. Exhibitor showcases, networking events and evening receptions will give attendees space to discuss industry challenges, strengthen existing partnerships and find new ways to work together more effectively.

CBUSA will also celebrate its 2026 Power 30, an elite group of independent builders recognized for their engagement, leadership and commitment to the relationships that strengthen the CBUSA network. The honorees actively support local suppliers and national brand partners, collaborate with fellow members and demonstrate how participation in the CBUSA model can contribute to stronger business performance. Following the conference, honorees will take part in an exclusive Power 30 event on Oct. 14.

“After more than 20 years with CBUSA, I’ve seen firsthand the more we put into the organization, the more we get out of it,” said Jon Showalter, vice president and chief operating officer of Homes by Dickerson. “For us, that means real cost savings, stronger relationships with our national partners and, just as importantly, meaningful relationships with builders – both in our local markets and across the country – who are willing to share ideas, experiences and support. I’m looking forward to being at The Summit again this year and spending time with the people who make those relationships so valuable.”

The Summit reflects CBUSA’s broader mission to help independent homebuilders compete more effectively through collective purchasing power, trusted supplier relationships and a collaborative national network. By bringing those connections together in one place, CBUSA helps members return to their markets with practical ideas, stronger partnerships and new momentum for the future.
