We are excited to announce that at the end of February a press release was issued announcing the acquisition of CoConstruct, CBUSA’s new parent company, by Buildertrend, the Omaha-based software company that provides project, financial, and client management software for the residential construction sector. Although CBUSA was not involved in the pre-acquisition discussions, we are of the belief that this move will be a good one for the CBUSA Network.
Buildertrend and CoConstruct will be working together to drive an increased level of systems integration and a shared product roadmap for their combined network of 20,000 customers. CBUSA’s focus will remain on the well-being of the companies that are part of our national network. We know there are many more opportunities ahead for us and staying on the leading edge of technology is critical to our mission.
What does this mean for CBUSA Members?
The transition to new ownership will have very little impact on our day-to-day operations as our teams work together on the development of a joint strategic plan. The CBUSA team will remain in place and we will continue to work on behalf of our membership to create more programs both locally and nationally, increase earned rebates and better pricing as the nation’s largest homebuilder group purchasing organization.
